About us
About Memorial Health Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children's Hospital of Savannah
Since 1992, we have been offering compassionate, comprehensive child-centered care to the Southeast Georgia and Southern South Carolina communities. Our medical professionals prioritize your child's unique health journey.
Prioritizing your child's experience
Our hospital makes great efforts to help your child feel comfortable and safe.
Our child-friendly environment
Our hospital creates a warm, inviting environment for your child, with bright pops of color on the walls. We want to make your child feel comfortable and at home, so we stray away from grays and muted colors.
To hear about parents' experiences at our hospital, you can read some of our patient stories.
All About Me Project
Our hospital has an initiative called the All About Me Project, which enables our staff to get to know your child better. This helps us take care of them in a way in which they will respond well. For children who are old enough, they are able to fill out a form, color it in and tell us about themselves. Some info they can share may include:
- Name
- Age
- Interests
- What would help comfort them during their stay
For younger children, this program allows you as a parent to let us know how to approach your little one, like what toys they can play with, their favorite character and what games they like to play. With these in mind, our specialists can have comfort items ready for your child in their hospital room to put them at ease.
