Visiting our hospital

Memorial Health Meadows Hospital believes that family involvement is an integral part of a patient’s hospital experience. In order to maintain the safety, security and comfort of all patients and visitors, please follow our visitation guidelines.

Information for our visitors

This information is designed to answer some of our visitors' most frequently asked questions.

Visiting hours at our hospital

Our hospital's general visiting hours are 9:00am to 9:00pm, seven days a week. Please check with your loved one's nurse for department-specific hours.

Visitation restrictions

Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions described on this webpage. Those circumstances include religious visitation as well as a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patient's treatment. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.

Visitor rules and guidelines

All visitors are welcome guests. Your companionship can aid in your loved one's speedy recovery. However, rest and therapy are essential to their health, too, so we encourage friends and family to limit your visits to short periods within our visiting hours. In consideration of any other patients sharing a room with your loved one, we ask that you limit visitors to two at a time.

If you show any signs of illness, please stay home. Our patients are at much greater risk of catching your illness. Phone calls are a great way to visit when sick and every patient has access to a phone.

Our new state-of-the-art hospital is filled with these amenities, which are designed to make your visit an enjoyable one:

  • Coffee shop
  • Excellent dining
  • Friendly, helpful staff
  • Large, private hospital rooms
  • Well-stocked gift shop

We're a smoke-free facility. Please help us provide a healthy environment for our patients by refraining from smoking or using other tobacco products. This smoke-free policy applies to all buildings as well as our outside grounds, parking lots, picnic pavilion and walking areas.

Emergency room (ER)

One family member or support person is permitted to stay at your loved one's side. In most instances, parents are allowed to remain with their children.
